Exploring the intersection between design, technology & preferable futures.
An interaction and communication designer who is keen on using design and technology as tools to address complexities of human experiences & build pathways to inclusive and sustainable futures.
Challenged by complexities, I use a system and service-led approach to understand how different stakeholders, products and environments interact within them. Having professionally applied design in contexts as varied as education, healthcare and other industry challenges, I have been able to leverage human-centered design methods to empathetically understand different contexts. I believe that all big problems need to be synthesized into simple, contextual and purposeful experiences for the users.
Currently I am pursuing my Masters in Design for Interactions at Carnegie Mellon University and am exploring ways to make technology more interactive and meaningful. Prior to this, my professional experience has been in the field of Learning Experience Design and Communication Design with an undergraduate education in Visual Communication Design at Srishti School of Art, Design and Technology in Bangalore, India.
